A typical railwayman’s tale from Norfolk during the late nineteenth century, it tells of the discovery of skeletal remains while constructing the railway and the ghost that walks as a consequence.

The Thorpe Rail Accident

Based on the true story of The Thorpe Railway disaster of 10 September 1874 when a train from Yarmouth and an express from London to Yarmouth met headlong upon a single track at Thorpe resulting in the deaths of over twenty passengers and crew and many more being seriously injured.
